Big feature-film laughs from the comic with the little name.

Call in the FBI. Alert the President. Advise all ships at sea and break out the Batphone because this is no ordinary adventure: this is Pee-wee's Big Adventure! Pee-wee's bicycle, the keenest bike in the world, is missing. It's his most prized possession...and he's just got to get it back.

Searching high, low and in between, Pee-wee hits the open road and encounters riotous adventures with bikers, bums, cowboys, cons, a phantom trucker and a waitress with wanderlust. His quest leads to the Warner Bros. Studios where security is tight, the soundstages are busy and Pee-wee's spiffy bike is in the hands of a spoiled-brat child star. But not for long!

Starring in this wacky romp is Pee-wee Herman himself, the manic, bow-tied Peter Pan who's wowed his fans with zany concerts and appearances on MTV and Late Night with David Letterman. Of course, before Pee-wee there was Paul Reubens of the Groundlings, a Los Angeles improvisational troupe. In 1978 Reubens created the exuberant Pee-wee persona and, right away, his Pee-wee performances became a hit as unerring as a deftly-thrown pie.

Get hip, dude — get Pee-wee's Big Adventure. It's off-beat, upbeat, feature film fun from comedy's freshest, funniest giant: The incomparable Pee-wee Herman.
